Although the two companies have been technology partners since April 2000, recent interface enhancements have created a more seamless link between ProEst Estimating ProEst Estimating software and the ComputerEase construction accounting system. The enhancements allow the two programs to function as an integrated software suite.

ProEst Estimating, with integrated digital takeoff technology, is used by construction company estimators to quickly and accurately calculate the cost of any size project. Now, a single mouse click transfers valuable estimate data from ProEst to ComputerEase to automatically set up a job complete with budget, phases, categories, cost types and labor hours in the accounting program. A second mouse click transfers material data from ProEst to ComputerEase to automatically create purchase orders or inventory pick-lists. This advanced integration increases efficiency and eliminates the errors commonly associated with duplicate data entry.
