ProEst Estimating Software Achieves Microsoft Certified Partner Status and ISV/Software Solutions Competency

Elevated partner status allows ProEst to leverage latest Microsoft technologies as it continually enhances its construction estimating software solutions.

SAN DIEGO, Calif., October 01, 2008: ProEst Estimating Software, a leading provider of construction estimating and takeoff technology solutions, today announced that it has achieved Microsoft Certified Partner status. To achieve this certification, its ProEst Takeoff software had to pass stringent third party testing* requirements and is now recognized by Microsoft as a certified software solution.
To become a Certified Partner within Microsofts independent software vendor (ISV) community, ProEst had to demonstrate its expertise with Microsoft technologies and submit multiple customer reference profiles for verification. Taking the additional steps to earn ISV/Software Solutions Competency for its ProEst Takeoff software helped elevate ProEst status within Microsofts partner program to the Certified Partner level.

ISV/Software Solutions Competency

The ISV/Software Solutions Competency is designed to support software providers that develop innovative solutions using Microsoft platforms. For ProEst Takeoff to meet the Competency requirements, it had to pass independent, third party testing to ensure compatibility with Microsoft operating systems.
