Construction Management Software Earns Gold Developer Status from Intuit® by Integrating its ProEst® Estimating Software with QuickBooks®

Integration offers construction companies the opportunity to gain greater control over job costs and profitability.

SAN DIEGO, Calif., October 16, 2007: Construction Management Software (CMS), a leading provider of construction estimating and takeoff technology, announced that it has earned QuickBooks Gold Developer status, the highest level of recognition available through the Intuit Developer Network (IDN) program. Construction companies that use QuickBooks Pro, QuickBooks Premier, QuickBooks Enterprise or the Canadian editions of QuickBooks can now take advantage of integration with CMS’ ProEst estimating software.

With the recent release of ProEst 11, CMS has set a new standard of excellence among construction estimating applications by offering industry-specific solutions with advanced integration capabilities and digital takeoff technology. The program’s easy-to-use interface and logical layout and design are just some of the reasons why thousands of construction companies have come to rely on ProEst to support their growing businesses.

The two-way interface between ProEst and QuickBooks allows users to transfer data back and forth. For example, estimates can automatically be created in QuickBooks using data from ProEst while customer and vendor data in QuickBooks can be imported into ProEst. By using the programs together, contractors have the ability to estimate job costs with greater accuracy, track costs vs. revenue in more detail and eliminate time and errors associated with duplicate data entry.
